WaterWise Secondary Schools
WaterWise NSW offers a wide range of educational programmes for secondary schools. We work with Councils and Water Suppliers to tailor secondary school programmes about their local water supplies and water conservation. We also help to organise and run WaterWise Competitions and special Water Week activities. Our WaterWise Programmes are written by NSW secondary teachers, for NSW secondary teachers. To save teachers classroom time, we do the planning for them… All our programmes are linked to the curriculum and come complete with lesson plans and assessment sheets. Our lesson plans for Senior Science, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science and Geography include field trips to local water supply facilities.
